September 22 - 25 GSPC of Nebraska at Branched Oak: Opening weekend started off great with FC Ike's Eshod Delight "Dee" winning the Open Gun Dog stake.  Dee's ownership has recently changed from Hiram Stanfill of Florida to Ed and Trudy Moody of Mississippi, both good clients of mine.  This win finished Dee's Field Championship title. 

  Young GSP, Eshod's Revolution "Mason" placed 4th in Open Derby.  He is owned by Carl Reynolds of Macon, GA.

September 30 - October 1 Heart of America at Perrysville, MO: The Open Limited Gun Dog stake had 20 starters and two of Ed & Trudy Moody's girls did well.  FC Scattergun's Maggie "Maggie" placed 2nd and NGDC FC Echo's Little Bit of Clown "Bitty" placed 3rd.  The Open Derby had 18 starters and GSP Anozira's Full of Brandi Brice "Brice", owned by Rick Anglin of Chandler, AZ, placed 2nd and Vizsla "Zeko", owned by Nathan Williams, placed 3rd.

September 30 - October 1 Nebraska Vizsla: Eshod's Daisy Duke "Daisy" (a Bitty & Ike pup) won the Open Derby stake.

October 7 - 8 American Pointer Club, Crawford, NE: In the big Open Derby stake, 1st place went to Eshod's Revolution "Mason", owned by Carl Reynolds of Macon, GA, 3rd went to Rick Anglin's GSP Anozira's Full of Brandi Brice "Brice", and 4th went to Vizsla "Zeko", owned by Nathan Williams.  In the Open Gun Dog, Trish and Wayne James' English Setter Trinity's Razzle Dazzle "Dazzle" placed 2nd and in the Open All Age, Irish Setter FC Georgia Wildfire "Red" placed 4th.  In the Pointer Championship, Carl Reynold's Eshod Thunder "Tom" did a super job and placed 4th.

October 7 - 8 Sioux City: Larry Loftin ran Ed & Trudy Moody's NGDC FC Echo's Little Bit of Clown "Bitty" in Amateur Gun Dog as a warm up for the nationals and they placed 2nd.






October 14 - 15, Sunflower GSP Eureka, KS: NGDC FC Echo's Little Bit of Clown "Bitty" placed 2nd in Open Limited Gun Dog, in Open Derby, 2nd went to Vizsla "Zeco", 3rd went to the Moody's Bitty daughter, Field Quest Itty Bitty "Dixie", and 4th went to GSP Anozira's Full of Brandi Brice "Brice".  Bob Perez's "Max" placed 2nd in Open Gun Dog and  "Zeko" owner, Nathan Willimas, in Amateur Derby and placed 2nd.

October 18 - 31, GSPCA National Championship, Eureka, KS: NGDC FC Echo's Little Bit of Clown "Bitty" won a Judges' Honorable Mention in the Amateur Gun Dog Championship.







November 10-12, CFGSPC, Masaryktown, FL: NGDC FC Echo's Little Bit of Clown "Bitty" placed 1st in Open Limited Gun Dog and her daughter, Field Quest Itty Bitty "Dixie" won the Open Derby.  It was a good day for Ed & Trudy Moody's girls!  Also placing in the Open Limited Gun Dog on Friday was Bill Bhame's Automatic Hi-Tailyn She Iz "Izzy" at 4th.  Becky Jacobs-Hardgrove placed her Ricochet's Lightening Feather "Curlew" 4th in the Amateur Limited Gun Dog stake.  Hiram Stanfill of Tampa, Florida won the Amateur Gun Dog stake with his GSP Hi-My's Scooter.  Becky Jacobs-Hardgrove placed her Ricochet's Lightening Feather "Curlew" in 2nd, Bob Perez placed Max in 3rd, and Brittany "Deuce" placed 4th.  All four of my students swept the placements in Amateur Gun Dog!

November 17 - 19 GSPC of Atlanta: Ray and his string nearly swept the Open Limited Gun Dog placements with 1st going to Irish Setter FC Georgia Wildfire "Red", 2nd with Carl Reynold's pointer Eshod Thunder "Tom", and 4th with Ed & Trudy Moody's new dog, FC Ike's Eshod Delight "Dee".  Ray would like to congratulate Jamie Fountain on his win in Open Derby with GSP "Dixon", who is a Cooper and Cheyenne pup that Ray broke.  Nathan Williams' very talented, young Vizsla "Zeko" placed 3rd in Open Derby, and his littermate, Fancy, owned and handled by Trish James, placed 4th.  Zeco and Fancy are out of Trish's top Dual Champion Vizsla, "Tzeitel".

November 24 - 26 Central Georgia Pointing Dog Club: Nathan Willimas' "Zeko" continues his streak with the win in Open Derby with Wayne James handling, and 3rd in Amateur Gun Dog with Wayne also handling.  This is a big placement for the 17-month-old youngster.  In Open Gun Dog, Terry Temple's "Dixie" placed 2nd.  Open Puppy was won by a brand new dog for Nathan Williams, Eshod's Annie Oakley, a GSP, who also went on to place 3rd in Amateur Puppy.  Irish Setter Eshod's Cobbtown Babe placed 4th in Open Puppy.  She is a Red/Bell pup.

November 30 - December 3 Middle Tennessee GSPC: In Open Limited Gun Dog, Carl Reynold's pointer Eshod Thunder "Tom" won 1st place, Ed & Trudy Moody's FC Scattergun's Maggie "Maggie" placed 3rd.  In Open Gun Dog, youngster Eshod's Arkansas Lady "Lady" placed 3rd.  In Open Derby, Field Quest Itty Bitty "Dixie", owned by the Moody's, won the stake and Nathan Willimas' "Zeko" placed 4th.  In Open Puppy, Eshod's Annie Oakley won.  In Amateur Walking Derby, GSP Anozira's Full of Brandi Brice "Brice" won the stake.

December 29 - 31, Central Georgia Pointing Dog Club, Leesburg, GA: Carl Reynold's pointer Eshod Thunder "Tom" won the Amateur Gun Dog stake with Wayne James handling.  NGDC FC Echo's Little Bit of Clown "Bitty" placed 2nd in Open Limited Gun Dog, Irish Setter FC Georgia Wildfire "Red" placed 3rd in Amateur Limited Gun Dog, and placing 3rd in Open Derby was Jay Halorin of Florida's Brittany "Roxie".

January 1, Southeastern Continental Breed Shooting Dog Championship, Leesburg, GA: NGDC FC Echo's Little Bit of Clown "Bitty" was the Runner Up in the Open Shooting Dog Championship.







January 5 - 7, Atlanta GSPC: Irish Setter FC Georgia Wildfire "Red" won the Open Limited Gun Dog stake and Annie, owned by Nathan Williams, placed 2nd in Open Puppy.






January 19 - 21, Central Florida GSPC: Becky Jackobs-Hardgrove finished her Field Championship title on her Ricochet's Lightening Feather "Curlew".  Congratulations!







January 29-31, Savannah River Shorthair Championship: Eshod's Revolution "Mason", owned by Carl Reynolds of Macon, GA won the Open Derby and Annie, owned by Nathan Williams placed 3rd.






February 16-19, Central Georgia Pointing Dog Club: FC Redbud's Rodeo Clown won the Amateur Gun Dog stake which was a 4 point major.  Carl Reynold's pointer FC Eshod Thunder "Tom" placed 4th in the Open Limited Gun Dog.  Bill Bhame's young GSP Myakka Zajaca Oh'my "Mya" placed 4th in Open Puppy out of 19.

February 16-19, NVA Eastern Shooting Dog Championship: Nathan Willimas' "Zeko" won the Derby Classic.

February 26 - March 8, NGSPA National Championship, Booneville, AR: Scott Bodenstab ran Anozira's Full of Brandi Brice "Brice" and placed 3rd in the Futurity.  NGDC FC Echo's Little Bit of Clown "Bitty", owned by Ed & Trudy Moody, won Runner Up in the Open Shooting Dog Championship.  Bitty had four covey finds, evenly spaced throughout.

March 9-11 , Irish Setter Club of San Antonio: Carl Reynold's pointer
FC Eshod Thunder "Tom" won the Open Gun Dog stake and finished his Field Championship!  The judge commented that Tom's performance was the best he'd seen in five or six years.  There were 27 in the stake.  Nathan William's "Annie" won the Open Puppy and Anozira's Full of Brandi Brice "Brice" won the Open Derby.  Scott Bodenstab's Hi-Tailyn Elektra Flyin placed 4th in the Open Derby.

March 16-18, Lonestar GSPC of Texas: Eshod's Revolution "Mason", owned by Carl Reynolds of Macon, GA won the Open Gun Dog stake at 22 months old for a 5 point major Retrieving win.  He did a fantastic job.  Nathan Williams' Anozira's Full of Brandi Brice "Brice" placed 4th in the same large stake.  In Open Derby, Scott Bodenstab's Hi-Tailyn Elektra Flyn "Elektra" placed 1st and "Roxy", a Brittany owned by Jay Haloren, placed 2nd.  "Brice" also placed this weekend is Amateur Gun Dog and Scott's Hi-Tailyn Trooper Saddle placed 4th.

March 23-25, Mid Florida Brittany Club: In the Open All Age, Trish and Wayne James' English Setter Trinity's Razzle Dazzle "Dazzle" placed 2nd, Irish Setter FC Georgia Wildfire "Red" placed 3rd, and Becky Jackobs Hardgrove placed her FC AFC Ricochet's Lightening Feather "Risky" in 4th.  In Open Gun Dog, Trish and Wayne James' English Setter Trinity's Razzle Dazzle "Dazzle" won the stake for a 3 point major, and the young GSP Eshod's Arkansas Lady "Lady" placed 2nd.  In Open Puppy, first place went to "Tony" owned by Hiram Stanfill of Tampa, Florida, and 4th went to "Blue", owned by Carl Reynolds of Macon, GA.

March 23-25, Volunteer Brittany Club of TN: Wayne James ran Zeco for Nathan Williams and won the Open Gun Dog stake for a 3 point major.  This same weekend in Florida, Bill Bhame placed 2nd in Open Puppy and 1st in Amateur Puppy with his young GSP Mya.








           






March 30-31, Heart of America GSPC: 2xNGDC/RU NFC/ FC Echo's Little Bit of Clown "Bitty", owned by Ed & Trudy Moody, won the large Open Limited Gun Dog stake.  "Annie" won the Open Puppy stake, Eshod's Arkansas Lady "Lady" won the Open Gun Dog stake, and Scott Bodenstab ran his Hi-Tailyn Trooper Saddle "Trooper" in Amateur Gun Dog and placed 2nd.  This same weekend at teh TAmpa Bay Vizsla trial, Bill Bhame placed 1st in Open Puppy with GSP Mya.

April 2-12, Branched Oak, NE: 2xNGDC/RU NFC/ FC Echo's Little Bit of Clown "Bitty", owned by Ed & Trudy Moody, won the 2007 AKC National Gun Dog Championship, for the second time.  Bitty is the first ever repeat National Gun Dog Champion.  Bitty was also named the 2006 GSPCA Dog of the Year just days before this national win.  Bitty was retired immediately, but will compete in the Amateur stake until she earns the one point she needs for her AFC title.








April 14-15, Western Irish Setter Club, Joeliett, IL: Eshod's Revolution "Mason", owned by Carl Reynolds of Macon, GA won the Open Gun Dog stake at 23 months and finished his Field Championship.  Trish and Wayne James' English Setter Trinity's Razzle Dazzle "Dazzle" placed 4th in the stake.  In Open Puppy, Nathan Williams' "Annie" placed 3rd and "Reba" placed 4th.  Reba is owned by Blake Biggs.  In Open Limited Gun Dog, Carl Reynold's pointer
FC Eshod Thunder "Tom" placed 2nd and Trinity's Razzle Dazzle "Dazzle" placed 4th.  In Open Derby, Annie won, and pointer "Big Al", owned by John Elton, placed 2nd.

May 4-6, Conestoga Vizsla Club, Clarksville, VA: The first of the "Bitty & Ike" pups to have a broke dog win is Ed & Trudy Moody's pick pup, Field Quest's Itty Bitty "Dixie", who won the Open Gun Dog stake for 2 points.  Her littermate, Eshod's Daisy Duke "Daisy", owned by Larry Loftin, placed 4th.  In Open Puppy, Eshod's Elhew Bobbie Magee "Bobbie" (Pointer) won and a Roadie pup Eshod's Kansas Kate placed 2nd, 3rd place went to True Blue's Field of Fire "Reba", a GSP owned by Dr. Orville Williams.  Eshod's Revolution "Mason", owned by Carl Reynolds of Macon, GA, placed 4th in Open Limited Gun Dog.  In Open Derby, "Albus", a Pointer owned by John Heldon, placed 2nd.  In Walking Puppy, "Kate" placed 3rd with Wayne James handling and "Reba" placed 4th for owner Orville Williams.  In Open Gun Dog, Trinity's Razzle Dazzle "Dazzle" placed 2nd with owner Wayne James handling and in Amateur Limited Gun Dog Dazzle won, finishing her Field Championship.  Congratulations!!  That makes three Field Championships in the past 60 days!

May 25-27, Minnesota: Dr. Orville Williams of North Carolina took his two GSP girls up to Minnesota and did a super job with them.  He won the Puppy with True Blue's Field of Fire "Reba", and placed 2nd in Amateur Gun Dog with Eshod's Arkansas Lady "Lady".  Congratulation Dr. Williams!!!
